This was my toy as it was a year ago. Sitting on 38's, toy axles, and leaf spring suspension. It was time for a new direction for the toy. Now i did start this build a year ago and have made quite a bit of progress. I've got quite a few pictures so bear with me on getting them posted.

After i got all the interior gutted. now came the time to chop the top. i will admit after i made the first cut i teared up a little bit.:( Ive had this truck for ten years now. I dont think it was weird.  So chopped the top and pulled that flat bed and started to bend some tube.

once i got to this point with the cage i decided to do my bpillar differently than just on continous tube with multiple bends and just use three tubes with single bends and make it more boxy looking. Then added a kind of visor and cross bar along with a dash bar and harness bar behind the seats.

i then decided to wrestle the ungodly heavy dana 60 front axle under the truck. this is quite a chore all by yourself. but setting on my creeeper and rolling it into position helped a bunch. good thing to know if i ever hit the 500 pound mark my creeper will still roll. kinda!!
